6th Edition of Students' International Week

On March 24, 2025, the official opening of the 6th Edition of Students' International Week took place, an event held from March 24 to 28, 2025. Delegations from 9 countries participated in this activity: Belgium, Bulgaria, South Korea, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Poland, the United States of America, comprising 27 cadets accompanied by 7 officers. The event began with the presentation of the participating delegations, followed by a course on "Introduction to the Romanian Language", and was then followed by a brief military ceremony, which included a parade of the academy's student platoons, a drill exercise, and a short performance by the military band of the Air Force Academy. This week is about more than exchanging professional knowledge and experiences. It is a unique opportunity to build lasting bridges between our cultures, to understand different perspectives, and to forge friendships that will last for a lifetime. In a world shaped by complex and dynamic challenges, international cooperation is crucial to ensuring global peace and security. The cadets of today will become the officers who will shape the future of this cooperation.

On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, the second day of the Students' International Week began with a visit to Făgăraș, where participants had the opportunity to visit the city's historic Citadel. During this visit, each delegation presented their institution in a fairy tale setting. Upon their return, our guests, along with the academy's students, took part in an adrenaline-filled activity, heading to a karting session. During this experience, the participants raced on the track, showcasing their driving skills in a friendly and energetic environment, which helped strengthen the bonds between students and create unforgettable memories.

On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, the third day of Students' International Week started with a leadership course and continued with visits to specialized classrooms and laboratories, where our guests had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the equipment used in the training process, to use the simulators, and also try the virtual shooting range. The second part of the day took place at Tărlungeni training camp, where guests enjoyed workshops and airsoft guns, beautiful mountain landscapes, the day ending with a campfire.

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, the fourth day of Students' International Week began with a visit to Bran Castle, where students had the opportunity to experience the history, myth, intrigue and magic of the castle. Afterwards, the activity continued with a general culture contest organized by the academy students and ended with a festive dinner.
